What artists say about New Artist Spotlight?
I think that the New Artist Spotlight is a place that not only is up to the brim with talented musicians but it really just has the most humble, the most human crowd in a collective space on the Internet, especially in today’s world. People understand each other, come together as one and have the most ultimate understanding of the fact that we’re all figuring it out. The support system is just extremely strong and exactly what a new independent artist needs in the music industry. I’m glad I’ve come across this community since it’s been a great reminder of the amount of love, understanding and support people are capable of transmitting on the Internet since we all know how toxic the Internet can be these days. The most human of humans. Love being here x

Ed has taken a flock of musical artists that were wandering aimlessly in the lonely expanses of cyberspace and fashioned them into a thriving, growing, ever-learning community that is producing quality work constantly and with a direction that gives meaning to not just him, but to everyone who is now connected in this electric, eclectic mass of talent called NAS.
NAS is one of those ideas that will be appreciated more and more over time, and Ed is a true visionary, not to mention an exceptional human being. The value of a platform like NAS to the global independent artist community cannot be under-stated.
There are new artist networks popping up online every day, but they all eventually fizzle out and fade away. On top of being an amazing community of like minded artists, NAS is ultimately a trust-hack for the internet, where trust is so hard to build. That's the beauty of NAS, Ed has figured out a way to create a group of artists that actually support each other.
Ed is a great promoter of independent artists and his initiative is a big opportunity for all of us.
If I could describe Ed in three words I'd say he has drive, vision and motivation! If I could sum him up as a person I would say he uses all those attributes and more to help people out for no other reason than he loves to do it! I admire him greatly for all his qualities and that's why I'm dedicated to help and support his cause!
Ed is truly next generation. His vision is the bitcoin of the music industry. Helping independent artists succeed is his passion like he has helped others his whole life.
I joined NAS shortly after the start and it has proven time after time what an invaluable place it is. If it wasn't for Ed, possibly all of us would have never found a place to connect and to grow together as good as we did for the past years. Thanks for creating an idea that goes beyond promotion and networking and giving Indie artists out there a home to make friends in.

NAS is such a great community of artist’s. With the help of Ed we are able to make dreams a reality. I have learned so much from him and the group if moderators he chose. So glad he has accepted artists like me to the group. I hope to be able to help others the way he has helped us. Thank you Ed and NAS!

“The music industry can be a really tough business these days, a bit like the Alien machine in Toy Story with everyone shouting and clambering over each other trying to be heard. NAS gives artists the opportunity to get out of that atmosphere and join a community where people are lifting each other up. It gives us all a springboard to be heard, to get feedback, and to learn about life as an independent artist, so that next time we’re in the ruckus, instead of being trampled on we’re stood on each other’s shoulders displaying our talent and getting noticed, ready for the claw to come and pluck us out.”
Ed Eagle and the New Artist Spotlight have completely changed my life. If it were not for the Spotlight, I would be absolutely nowhere. And if it were not for Ed, the Spotlight would not exist. It is all in the name of love and music. So utterly genuine. I know Ed feels this way, and so do we all. One big ever-growing happy family. Which is why it is a good place that artists can come to, when life deals a rotten hand. I owe all my success and happiness to you, Ed. Thank you, from the depths of my bowels.
Not only is Ed Eagle a brilliant performer and artist, he has the biggest heart, and is one of the most genuine people I've had the pleasure of getting to know in one of the hardest times of the last decade. What he's done and continues to do for independent artists around the world is phenomenal. He's a rare gem that somehow manages to seek out the other gems through the New Artist Spotlight Family. Through NAS, I've got to listen to, and really get to know some amazing musicians, artists and producers across the globe. We are in it together here because we love what we do, and we love what other people do too. We respect and admire all forms of musical art and self-expression, and NAS is the place we get to geek out, beam proudly at our peers, help each other grow and be heard, pick one another's brains and make real connections. NAS rocks and Ed is a legend for making it happen. Excited for what comes next.
NAS is an absolutely unique project made by an incredibly kind person. Not just that it really really really helps new and undiscovered artists greatly, but the overall approach is something unprecedented, at least in the music industry. Ed, his mods and all the NAS members actually care about music and musicians and not about taking advantage of...well, music and musicians. New Artist Spotlight is the very reason I started PlaylistSubs - things artists can do when working together...There’s so much potential!

The New Artist Spotlight has provided invaluable tools and support for hundreds of independent artists throughout the world. The free community was created by Ed Eagle who saw that there could be a way for artists to share their music and grow their brand without relying on paid services. This tight knit community has proven that together we can be stronger and I thank it for what it has done for myself and other musicians.

It’s hard for indie artists to be heard. There is so much noise around, so many companies taking advantage of artists. So when you find a community that celebrates and props up indie artists, it’s like a breath of fresh air in a smoke filled room. The New Artists Spotlight or NAS community is that breath of fresh air. Not only can your music be streamed and heard on NAS playlists, but it can be reviewed, heard on radio stations from all over the world, be included in podcasts... There are so many different promotional directions that NAS provides and it’s all because of the selfless nature of Ed Eagle.
Ed Eagle created a unique community of Indie artists that celebrate one another and are each other’s greatest fans. That’s a pretty amazing accomplishment. Thank You Ed Eagle!

NAS, in a nutshell, is a place with great music done by lovely people and their only goal is to help each other.
