First of all we want to thank you for your interest! Our project PlaylistSubs grows much faster than we expected and we appreciate it so much! Moving forward, welcome to our first Weekly Recap! Here we want talk about artists, musicians and producers, that we think are truly amazing and you can find them on our Spotify Playlists. PlaylistSubs - Weekly Recap features our personal picks. We do not care about the number of streams or followers, we only care about amazing music and talented artists. Here we go!

#1  Estella Dawn - Vixen

Estella Dawn is a young producer, songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist from New Zealand. And her new single "Vixen" is killing it! Her spot on vocals will remind you of such singers like Pink, Hayley Williams or Katy Perry. "Vixen" is an energic song with an electronic/pop/indie vibes, but it´s definitely not just another shallow pop song. We are pretty sure we´ll hear a lot about Estella Dawn in near future!

#2  Ninebanks - Innocent

This pop punk band is not even 1 year old and already drops hits! Ninebanks are based in UK and according to their own words they "...like to keep our songs catchy and uptempo! We like having that radio friendly commercial sound." (gbhbl). And it really is very radio-friendly, as Ninebanks sound as good as any other professional band. Ninebanks recently released their song "Innocent" and we think it´s an absolute banger! Are they going to be the next Blink-182 or Green Day? Take a listen and decide for yourself.

#3  Gabi Sklar - Into Your Ex

Sometimes we feel privileged to have an artist on our Spotify playlist, who is not a world superstar yet, but it´s just a matter of time. We are almost sure it´s the case with Gabi Sklar. This 21 years old singer from Long Island, NY has it all! In her latest single "Into Your Ex" you can hear pop, dance and electronic vibes. This radio-ready song reminds us of Lady Gaga´s early creations and we absolutely love it! "Into Your Ex" by Gabi Sklar is that one song you want to hear over and over again.

#4  2.brkn - Lost and Nauseous

As we mentioned at the very beginning - we do not care about number of streams or followers, we only care about an amazing music. There´s almost nothing we can find about 2.brkn (or "TO BROKEN"), only what he says about himself on social media. And the only thing he says can be found on his Youtube channel: "I make music I guess". Well, we guess so too! His track Lost and Nauseous is freaking amazing and truly enchanting.

The song Lost and Nauseous by 2.brkn starts with nice and kind guitar beat only to reveal the melancholic nature of the lyrics and vocals. The song combines rap, lo-fi, pop and indie genres in an incredible way that wraps around the heartbreaking story perfectly. It´s almost misbecoming to say that it´s so catchy that you want to sing the song along with the artist, even though you hear it for the first time. 2.brkn - Lost and Nauseous is a must-listen without a doubt.

5#  Maick-I - Light Comes UP

Now we´ll take a look at a pure electronic banger! We added Maick-I to our Electronic Spotify playlist just a few days ago, but we can´t get enough of it. Maick-I is a producer from Netherlands and his focus is mainly on EDM (Electronic Dance Music). His song Light Comes UP has one of the most original drops we´ve heard in a while! And creating something original, especially in EDM music is getting harder and harder these days. After the first listen to Maick-I - Light Comes UP, we instantly got an idea that it could be a great fit for a Rick and Morty soundtrack! What do you think?
