Megan and Shane
When Megan and Shane say "We'll punch you in the gut then hug you." , they are not even kidding. Their music is both hard and easy to listen to. Hard because it´s deeply emotional, honest and heavy. Easy beacuse it´s an absolute pleasure to listen to those beutiful songs - Megan has an incredible, strong voice and Shane seems like he was born with a guitar in his hands. Megan and Shane Baskerville just released the album Daughter of Country. It´s 9 songs and 33 minutes of the best country music you will hear in a while. When I heard the title track I just coudn´t believe that Megan and Shane only have about 500 monthly listeners on Spotify... If it would be 500 thousand I woudn´t be surprised.

Jamie Alimorad
Welcome to our first interview! And right off the bat it´s a big one. Jamie Alimorad is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from LA and it is an honor to have his latest song Give A Little Lovin' in our playlist The Best of PlaylistSubs.
Jamie Alimorad has already accomplished a lot. After releasing two albums - Cornerstone and Words Left Unsaid - he went on a nationwide tour, visiting such cities as Las Vegas or New York. An immense success of the albums and the tour led to the music video for a single "Beautiful". This music video has received more than 2 million views on YouTube.

PlaylistSubs - Weekly Recap features our personal picks. We do not care about the number of streams or followers, we only care about amazing music and talented artists. Here we go! 
As the title is pretty straight forward, we´ll take a look at the very basics of how Spotify works and how you can get more real and organic streams to your Spotify songs. Just remmeber, it takes some time and you have to be pretty active. When you make a song and put it on Spotify, the work actually just begins! So first we will take a look at how it actually works.
